That question led me through martial arts, photography, filmmaking,

moments of uncertainty, and a growing appreciation for the miracle

of simply being alive.

Along the way I realized that the camera wasn't just documenting experiences

it was teaching me how to notice them.

meraki is born from that realization.

it isn't a media company disguised as a philosophy.

It is a philosophy expressed through media.

Every photograph, every film, every journal entry, and every conversation

is an attempt to understand something a little more deeply than I did yesterday.

I believe it is measured by awareness.

If this work encourages even on person to slow down, question their perspective,

or pursue something with their whole heart,

then meraki has already fulfilled its purpose.
